Heron Bay Golf & Country Club’s interactive Internet marketing campaign launched in 2008 taking Heron Bay’s online presence from a “brochure Web site” to a highly optimized interactive site with a comprehensive Web 2.0 traffic building strategy. Tools included in the mix are online ads, blogs, video and email marketing. The result is a comprehensive, creative effort that brings traffic to the community, sells houses in a down market and ensures Heron Bay’s position as one of the metro area’s top-selling communities. Heron Bay won a Silver OBIE for best Interactive Marketing campaign in 2008. Carol Flammer, MIRM, CAPS and Managing Partner with mRELEVANCE will show how Heron Bay utilized Web site tracking and analytics to prove ROI and create an effective Internet marketing program including social media, internet advertising and search engine marketing.

Bowen Family Homes recently expanded its social media marketing program to include a blog, Twitter, Facebook, ActiveRain and other social media tools to reach the builder’s target audiences. Kelly Kenton Fink, Broker, MIRM, CAPS and Regional Marketing and Internet Director for Bowen Family Homes will discuss how they have successfully utilized online public relations and external blogging. Kelly recently spoke at IBS on Website marketing and social media. She is the National Marketing Director of the Year for 2008. During four days of their Dollars for Dreams Home event in 2008, the Atlanta real estate blog www.AtlantaRealEstateForum.com was Bowen Family Homes’ number one referral source due to strategic posts promoting the sales event. Many of Bowen Family Homes’ top referral sources are social media and online PR sites. The Dream Event won a Silver at Nationals for Best Special Promotion and it won a Silver at the Obies for Best Marketing Campaign for a Builder.
